Beck Blames Obama For Closing Of Ohio Bridal Shop After Ebola Scare

Last year, after a handful of American healthcare workers contracted the Ebola virus, the nation was thrown into a panic, thanks, in part, to the incessant fear-mongering(link is external) and crazy conspiracy theories(link is external) promoted by the right-wing media.

Among the leading promoters of this panic was Glenn Beck(link is external), who spent day after day warning his audience that Ebola could spell the end(link is external) for this nation and begging them(link is external) not the listen to anything the government said.

Eventually, Beck completely lost it(link is external) and called upon millions of Americans to march on Washington and demand a ban on travel from West African nations, screaming that failure to do so was "literally going to be the death of us all."

The crisis subsided shortly thereafter, but not without repercussions, as a bridal shop in Ohio is now going out of business(link is external) as a result of the stigma attached to it after a Dallas nurse who contracted Ebola visited the store shortly before she became ill.

And Glenn Beck knows exactly who is to blame for this: President Obama.

"Here's how his policies affected real people," Beck said on his radio program(link is external) on Friday. "This is the policy where they didn't quarantine people. This is how it affects real people ... This is one of the saddest, most tragic stories and one of the biggest beacons of how irresponsible it was of our government not to quarantine people":
