E.W. Jackson: Homosexuality Is an 'Abomination in the Sight of God'

Last fall, E.W. Jackson delivered a sermon(link is external) at Clover Hill Assembly of God in Midlothian, VA during which he told the congregation(link is external) that Christians must repent for being "sinfully complacent" by supporting political candidates who tolerate or promote "that which violates God's word and everything upon which this nation was built."

"How dare we,' Jackson fumed(link is external), "put party over the word of God ... How dare we put our race over the word of God. Nobody will ever convince me that because I'm black, I have a responsibility to vote for a candidate who will stand up on his hind feet and say 'I believe we ought to admire same-sex marriage and I'm in favor of same-sex marriage' when the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin in the sight of God and an abomination in the sight of God. I will not support anybody who would do such a thing":
