Has Fischer Finally Gone Too Far for the AFA?

The American Family Association has tolerated a lot of Bryan Fischer’s anti-gay(link is external), anti-Muslim(link is external), anti-Hispanic(link is external), anti-whale(link is external), and anti-bear(link is external) screeds, but the group is now cracking down on its Director of Issues Analysis for claiming that Native Americans were justifiably forced out of their land(link is external) and are to this day punished with poverty and alcoholism(link is external) for not converting to Christianity.

The Native American Rights Fund said Fischer’s comments are “not worth dignifying with a reply(link is external),” and AFA blogger Elijah Friedeman called Fischer’s views “repulsive(link is external).”

It appears that the AFA is now expunging(link is external) Fischer’s vicious article on Native Americans, along with Freideman’s denunciation - they have even removed his column from Renew America(link is external) where it was also posted.

Fischer’s original article has been removed(link is external) from the AFA’s Focal Point blog(link is external) (while leaving his radio commentary on YouTube(link is external)); similarly, Friedeman’s reaction was taken down(link is external) from the AFA’s website and is no longer listed on his blog(link is external) either.

You can still read excerpts from Fischer’s abhorrently bigoted article(link is external) on RWW and watch him ridicule Native Americans:
